        Prologue I woke up lying on my back, with my arms above my head and my blanket only halfway covering me. It was chilly so I repositioned myself so that I was laying on my side, my blanket up to my cheek, and just as I laid my face down I felt a wet spot on the side of my cheek. Drool. I sighed and flipped my pillow over. I tried relaxing again but I realized that I had to go to the bathroom. Forcing myself up out of my warm and cozy bed I went across the hall to do my business. As I turned to look Aleck and the other lycan landed right in front of me. I moved out of the way and watched as Aleck growled, punching the beast with his right fist. The lycan unaffected turned his head and bit Aleck on his right shoulder. He cried out. "Aleck!" I shouted again. He looked at me pushing the lycans face away from his. "Run!" he said.
